Be The Next Recession Millionaire
Aug 24th, 2009 | By William Boyett | Category: Stock InvestingThere is an old saying that you have probably heard, “more millionaires are made during a time of recession than at any other time”.
Why is that?
The simple answer being is that everything has been beaten down and big gains can be made when the economy recovers. This extends more than the stock market and includes area such as real estate.
If you haven’t lost all your money, now you can buy real estate and stocks at bargain prices. For example, in November 2008 I bought FRE at .45. It’s been less than a year and today I sold it for $2.12. Thats a 371% gain in less than a year.
There are many other good companies that used to trade for $50 when the economy was better but can now be had for $5 a share or less!
You can go to real estate auctions and buy real estate at 1/3 the price it used to be.
Now is the time to be pumping your money back into good companies that lead their industry and have been beaten down in price (also look for companies not strapped with debt). They will recover and if you invest enough, you could be the next recession millionaire.
