Well my prediction from last week came true. If you didn’t get a chance to read it you can click here to read my stock trading prediction.

In the post I said the market is about to make a big move to the upside or downside starting on Wednesday of last week. As we see in the below chart the S&P fell for three days straight, broke through it’s support line, and now lies at it’s lowest point in over a month.

I take it you all followed my advice and moved to cash and protected yourselves from losses, good job.

Now we are ready to profit off the markets next big move. I see it happening around Tuesday, maybe Wednesday, of this week. I see a potential gain of 10% in a matter of days.

It’s time for another edition of “Recent Hot Stocks” where I bring you the next bunch of winners and recap what happened to the last bunch of recent hot stocks.

If you haven’t already done so, click this link to see my picks in the last edition of “Recent Hot Stocks”.

In that article I released four hot stocks. It’s now two months later and the markets gained 7.24% in that time. My four hot stocks gained an average of 21.61%. That’s about triple what the markets did! I hope everyone cashed in on them. Here are the full results:

IRS +17%

UFPI +24%

DEL +24%

LPX +21%

100% winners with 100% beating the market returns of 7.24%!

Moving forward we find that Mining for Uranium is the hottest industry over the last couple of months. My top choice in there is DNN.

Over a much longer time frame we find that the Building Industry (Wood Products Sector) is still hot and my previous three picks, UFPI, DEL, and LPX are still going strong. I recommend holding these three for another couple of months.

In that article I released eight hot stocks. It’s now three months later and the markets gained around 7.5% in that time. My eight hot stocks gained an average of 16.11%. That’s double what the markets did! I hope everyone cashed in on them. Here are the full results:

Moving forward we find that the Real Estate Development Industry is still one of the the hottest industry for the last couple of months. My top choice in there is IRS.

The hottest Industry over the last 5-6 months has been the Building Industry. More specifically the Wood Products Sector. My top choices in there are: UFPI, DEL, and LPX (in no particular order).

As an investor it’s smart to follow the money. Big institutions and mutual fund managers have the money and power to drive prices higher when they decide to buy. Because of their size, they usually take months of buying before their positions in a company is filled.

Why not take advantage of their power and get in on the stocks they want and enjoy the ride as they push prices higher?

Whether you think the market is going up or down, below is a list of the industries and stocks that are performing the best in each type of market.

If you think the markets are in a downtrend from the April 23 top:

The best performing sector is the Real Estate Management/Developement sector which gained 51.52% since April 23. Some hot stocks in that sector: IRS, STWD, EJ, CRIC (listed in no particular order)

If you think the markets bottomed last Friday and are now in rally mode:

The best performing sector is the Steel sector which gained 10.89% since July 7 (four trading days ago). Some hot stocks in that sector: TIE, RTI, SID, SHLO (listed in no particular order)

The eight hot stocks listed above are some of my favorites as of this date. When to sell is up to you. To find more stocks in these sectors visit Yahoo Finance.
